What is always helpful (for both spellbook construction and feedback commentary) is to provide the basic idea of your spellbook:

How do you intend to win? E.g., do you want to summon so many creatures that your opponent cannot handle them all, or do you intend to put Curses, Burn/Rot tokes, and other damage-over-time effects on him in order to make him go down slowly and painfully?
And how do you plan to prevent the enemy from thwarting your plan?
And, finally, it is always helpful to think about the first 2-3 turns (e.g. build up an economy, or summon one big creature on turn 2 and start whacking the enemy from turn 3 onwards).

The two books you posted don't look bad, but if you add some more context (as provided by questions such as the ones listed above), users will be able to give you more detailed feedback on what might work well together (i.e. in harmony with your overall game plan) and where things could be made even more shiny.

Oh yeah... of course. I am thinking I want to put some skeletons in his face, using the plague zombie with the sacrificial altar (as an eternal servant, so I can re-animate it) - this also works well with the graveyard right? 6 cheap skeletons to throw at him, while getting some of the more expensive creatures. I want to keep my mage at range and use the wand for the incantations if need be. Using the gass cloud as a base of operations for the archers. I have four walls which may be overkill, but I like walls and they're cheap. I included the huge zombie creature (Malacoda) because I just think it seems really good. I was toying with the idea of reanimate in the wand and make Shaggoth eat the cheap reanimates.

Death link was a way to heal my mage, by linking him to a skeleton, because I can heal those.

Harmonize is for the libro

To be honest my vision of this spellbook is sketchy at best. I have only played a single game yesterday with my wife, but thoughts and some more or less tangible ideas emerged in my mind as I played with the creator. I don't think I have a clear strategy yet, but I have ideas.

I was thinking about getting the ring of death and libro first round, but to be honest I'll have to play more before I have any idea about an exact plan for the first three rounds.I don't know exactly why I included rouse the beast, but think it was sort of an emergency card, if I really needed a creature to act right away.


I was going for some kind of synergy, being able to keep creatures in play and my mage out of harms way. Some cheap skeletons and the ability to make one slightly more powerful attack each round because if the altar.

My latest revision. Just tried to shave a bit off here and there is make it conform somewhat to the sketch if a strategy idea I have:

Don't have time to fully look these over but I will. One thing I'll point out: Malacoda isn't a zombie. He's a demon and he's Living. Now he's immune to all your poison stuff obviously but he could be buffed if you ever decide to put some Nature Enchantments like Cheetah Speed in your book.

Couple of things you may have not noticed.

Death link was a way to heal my mage, by linking him to a skeleton, because I can heal those.

Death Link can only target Living creatures, which your skeletons are not. So you could put it on Malacoda or an Acolyte if you wanted it on your creatures, but there's really no reason for that. It's much better placing it on an enemy creature.

Harmonize is for the libro

This is a bad idea. I used to do that too but it makes the Libro an even bigger target for dissolve (it's already a big one). You'll pay the mana for Harmonize but the Libro still gets dissolved at its normal cost and you just wasted that mana.

Again, can only target living creatures. So probably not as useful in this spellbook as you thought. Just trying to help you out

don't feel bad. I remember my first necro skeleton book. I had all the plans of putting Hawkeye on my skeletal archer.... and rousing the beast... yeah...

after my opponent and I went back through the book I have about 8 cards that were pretty much useless in the book.

Just updated with a few changes. Removed the harmonize. I was looking for some cards to make my skeletons tougher through armor or something, but the options are really expensive. I seem to recall some card that gave armor to a whole zone, but just can't remember what it was or if it had another effect.

Since this isn't a collectable game, you can print the card off and play with it until you are able to buy it once forcemaster vs Warlord gets reprinted in the very near future.
