Any new tech on display? Interesting creature splashes? Unusual enchantments? Hidden gems?
I can take the fun out of anything. It's true; here, look at this spreadsheet.

I saw a beast master (surprisingly only core set no exspansions) use a banish on my wizards whirling spirit. Compleatly stopped my tempo and pulled off a win using a canine swarm with no buffs. Great play.

I've seen these questions come up elsewhere So I figured I'd put some answers out.

Meta: 6 Beastmasters (1 Johktari, 5 Straywood), 2 Forcemasters, 1 Warlock, 1 Wizard

Top 3: 1 Forcemaster, 2 Beastmaster, 3 Beastmaster (note: going into the 3rd round the Warlock was 2-0)

Time: I don't remember exactly, but I think we only had one game go to time. Several came close, and each round there was one that would push towards the limit, but on the whole things ran very smoothly. Time Limit was 1.5hr. Tie Breaker used was mage's remaining life.

If there are any other questions, please let me know! Hopefully everyone can come to the event in Indianapolis on the 26th.

thanks for hosting a great event. things ran very smoothly i felt. i think the 1.5 hours was a decent round limit. it was really good that there were many participants too. an excellent opportunity for everyone to face different players than their local group. allows for surprise situations as mentioned with the timely banish.

looking forward to the event on the 26th. see you there...
