Taunt

I have a question about taunt.  The codex says you have to attack Sosruko if able.  You have to move before you can attack.  Therefore I say that you can move out of the zone Sosruko is in and then attack another creature.  Is that correct?

I say this because no where does it say that you forfeit the ability to move with taunt.

I don't think you can move. The codex states :

"Taunted creature must make a mêlée attack against
Sosruko during its next action phase..."

Therefore your next action must be a mêlée attack action and not a move action.

I had a similar question about Taunt (and Bloodthirsty for that matter) some time ago and yes, they actually make you have to attack whatever it is you have to attack and don't allow you to move out of the zone to prevent having to do it.

With Taunt and Bloodthirsty, first you check to see if the action is possible. If you can attack, then you must do so, instead of choosing any other action.

If the attack is not possible, you are not required to do anything which makes the attack possible. For example, if the attack requires you to pay mana, and you could destroy a decoy to gain the 2 mana you need, you do not have to do that.
