OCTGN not working

anyone else unable to start a mage wars game after the update?

They just did a major update less then 12 hours ago. It should be up based on their Twitter. I'll check it out later.

twitter (OCTGN) says it should be working. and it is, kind of. I can log on and see other (non mage wars) games working. However, every time i try to start a mage wars game, it says "there was a problem, please try again"

and I see no other mage wars games (play nor spectate)

Maybe no one else has a game open right now. Did you follow the instructions for reinstalling OCTGN properly?

Having problems installing the latest OCTGN update?  Follow these steps:
1) Restart your computer
2) DO NOT attempt to load OCTGN after restarting
3) Go to https://www.octgn.net/ and download the latest version
4) Run the installer to overwrite your existing OCTGN installation
5) It is now safe to load OCTGN

Also, check your games manager and see if you still have the mage wars module installed.

there was a new update (after the update :-) ) after that it was fixed

keep having to unstall .netframework 4.7 file after i updated.  its unable to install the .net portion.  super frustrating.  thanks foe any help. 

did any one else have to update the netframework too?

I've heard you need to make sure your windows is up to date

Windows Defender is giving me a severe virus detected alert when I try to update OCTGN.

yea now i get the problem puddinhead has but if i bypass it.   than it wants me to download somehthing else.  which keeps saying its not supported on this system.  super annoying.  i will check back to see if anyone has had success. 
Still cant get it working even after update still getting an error
