Mage Wars German Nationals 2018

Hey all! The largest Mage Wars tournament worldwide is coming up in two weeks (May 26-27) in Germany. In the previous two years there were even more players than at GenCon. Perhaps some of you would still like to join? If you'd like more details in English please don't hesitate to ask! Please do hurry though because registry closes soon!

Thanks to you and Jannis for organizing and running this tournament.
I had a fantastic time.
26 players this year
Also weather was sunny and hot and we sat outdoors playing Mage Wars.

Congrats to Enti for winning German National for the second year in a year.

Congrats to Keejchen for second place. Not easy to beat both Enti and Juli, to just make it!

Juli came third. 0,01 points away from the finals.

Id actually like to talk about signing of Mage Wars card here also (cause im loving it)

I think we should let top 3 players sign important cards from their spellbooks.
It would be great prizes and it would make for great display for tourneys to come and for FB, forums, national television etc.

Dear players,

What an extraordinary weekend we had! Thank you all for that! I think we can be proud to have such an exemplary community. We would appreciate your feedback!

What is there for us to improve? I think the majority of players approved of the new scoring system and that it lead to fairer rankings. We need to speed up the scoring process in between rounds and will use a notebook or tablet next time.

We took some photos but would really also like to collect all of your images from the event. Jannis will publish a link soon where you can upload and view everybody’s photos.
