I could imagine placing a [mwcard=MW1J07]spawn point[/mwcard] in a zone with an orb near your starting corner early in a match, then putting this gate at a choke point later on. In that way, it's like a more versatile [mwcard=MW1J06]Gate to Hell[/mwcard] or [mwcard=FWJ04]Garrison Post[/mwcard] that isn't subtype specific. It's even better, since you might have existing creatures guarding orbs that are no longer being threatened and can get them all where they're needed in one round. Great for swarmy mages... and the fact it's Arcane isn't so bad since a Warlord is probably fine with a combination of Garrison Post and Hidden Tunnels (promo).
