What I don't understand with Mana Worm is... why have text that could have been resumed with the already existing keyword "Mana Drain".

Maybe it had to do with AW wanting there to be fewer keywords and such in Academy. If it said mana drain, while I do thing it's pretty obvious what it does, new players who have never played MW before would just have yet another keyword to look up.

Academy is meant to be more easily accessible than Arena. One of the things that constantly makes Mage Wars tough to get into is the long log of keywords. We didn't use a keyword here, because the ability could be completely done via text. That way you don't have to go reference another document. Simply having the card and it makes sense.

So what is the official release date? I can't wait to play it!

I don't know if there is an exact date right now. We want this in your hands as soon as possible, I just don't know when this will arrive at fulfillment. I'll see if I can get a rough date tomorrow, when everyone is back to work.
