Unoffical Android App - MW Tools
« on: March 12, 2014, 08:52:01 AM »
Yesterday one of our intrepid players published his unofficial android app for Mage Wars, MW Tools. All of us at Arcane Wonders are incredibly flattered by his work, and we want to share it with the forum! >>HERE<< is the app on Google Play. It maintains your status sheet and provides a log of your mage's actions. I want to thank Gergo for all his fantastic work.

In the next couple months the official Mage Wars app should be available, but please take advantage of this fantastic app now!

Thanks for sharing and thanks for creating, Gergo!
Intuitive interface, log to track adjustments, and even designed to include the codex when completed... Going to have to get a game in   today just to try it out in practice :-)

Oh and Thank Akiro that it's for Android!

I've been one of the testers for this app, it's very handy! The log of actions is very useful to go back and see what you did wrong in your match. Overall I'd really recommend it, it's makes it easier to keep track of everything.

Nice!! I always bump those cubes at least once a game.  Finally I won't have to worry about were they were! :)

Just installed it.. looks nice.  Having only 1 android device means flopping screens to see the other player.  Would an over under view option be possible so you can see both mages numbers at the same time.. helps with planning. I have a Nook and the screen would support it I think.. on a phone not so much.  Do you really need to see the next and previous numbers?  If you over under both mages and removed the next and last number or made them less prominent.. maybe replaced with arrows or just + and - symbols I think it would be that much more awesome.  Great job though I will defnitely use it.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad you like the app.

I have something similar in mind and on my roadmap. It's not totally crystal clear yet how it would work and look like, but I see it could be a handy feature. Sooner or later, in some form I will add this. And even something more...
