Equipment combined with enchantments

You're a beastmaster mage. As equipment, you've got staff of beasts. My question is: the beastmaster's own ability gives him the melee +1 trait, and a bear strength gives him another +2 melee. Do they count for the staff of beasts as well, or only for the basic melee attack of the beastmaster?

All those bonuses states melee + 2 and melee +1, so if you do melee attack you take a base number of dice from that attack. In case of staff its 4+2+1 = 7

Those bonuses counts for every melee attack of that creature or mage. Bear has two kinds of attack but he would recieve bonus for each of them :)

Just thought I'd chip in a little reasoning for things. The staff of beats grants the beastmaster a new attack, but it is still the mage making the attack so he does indeed get all applicable bonuses stacked on him. Comparatively, if he had a dancing scimitar equipped, the scimitar would not get his bonuses because it makes its attacks independently.
