Enchanters Wardstone vs Destroy Magic and Purge Magic

Well, more than question, we (my gaming group) need confirmation.

If my enemy have 3 wardstones and i cast Purge magic on his FM, do i have to pay additional mana?

Sometimes it is really hard to save up 10 mana just to destory Mind Control on my Bogran Bloodstone

Well...

Purge magic has a fixed cost - 12 mana.

1. Cast spell. Turn it face up declare target check for range and LOS and pay mana.

2. Opponent can counter the spell now with nullify if he has it on target.

3. Spell resolves. Here you pay 2 extra mana for each Wardstone the opponent has in play PER enchanment you wish to destroy.

So if FM have 4 enchants and 3 wardstones in play and i cast Purge magic, i will pay 12 mana and then 4*2*3 mana?

If you want to get rid of all four Enchantments, then yes. But if there are only two of interest then (2*2)3.
