How many familiars can a Mage have in the dungeon? I do not see anything in the rule book.

So long as the familiar isn't legendary, unique, or epic the same rules apply for as any other creature/spell limitation.

The Forcemaster has a new familiar called a Thoughtspore. It is not Legendary, Unique, or Epic, so she can have several in play at once!
