Battleforge tactics?

So I made a post asking for advice on spawnpoints and familiars now onto battleforge. When should you use battleforge and when shouldn't you? Which mages/styles benefit mostly from battleforge which ones don't? Defensively when should you try and take out it out or ignore it? Just looking for feedback thanks!

on your side, you want to get at least four deployments from the forge before it gets destroyed. so given that, you want to have at least six or more equipments in your book to justify the forge. imo.

on the other side, you want to destroy the forge such that they get at most two or three deployments. if they have gotten the four or more, it may not be worth the actions, and or spell points from you to destroy it.
