Boooo! Way too much sportsmanship to be had in this thread! I demand one of you make a generalized negative insinuation about the others mother. In response the other party needs to challenge them to a fight by the slide after school. Doesn't anyone care for tradition anymore!? 
Not at the expense of practicality. Insulting your opponents' mother is hardly an effective way to win a mage's duel. What if she hears you? Because she WILL hear you. Mothers ALWAYS know, after all. Furthermore a mother's attack is so powerful that the apply damage and effects step will last at least several hours. I'd rather be a good sport and not take that risk.
