You may only use it for the mages attack on his card if that attack is classified as a spell. So far that only applies to the wizard's attack. The warlord and forcemaster have special abilities that count as spells and may be played with a quickcast action.

all mages have their quick "Basic Melee Attack" so they can  use them as a quickcast. but you are suggesting only Wizard can make attack as a  QC what is not true.

You can't use your quick melee attack with your quickcast. You can use that attack as a quick action, but not all quick actions can be used for your quickcast. Only quick spells can, not non-spell attacks, movement actions, or guarding.

i belive you are right, but it's not clearly said in instruction.

i thought i can do any action with quick-action symbol. are there any other situations in which i can not use QuickCast Action besides Mage melee attack?

Quickcast action is for casting only. That is to say is can only be used for spells and abilities that are "Quick Spells" one example would be arcane zap, another would be the staff of beasts buff.
