I think this is a valid concern however I do think someone mentioned this on either arcane duels or on Mage cast episode.  What I remember is that they said they would release the four core mages from arena into academy, than released out of order, with the exception of maybe the forcemaster.   
Any way they do release them, I do agree they should release based on need to expand the pool for each Mage and school.  Forcemaster obviously needs more cards.  Followed by Warlord, Druid, and necromancer.  I do think based on how big the nature school is already the Druid may be pushed back because of the perceived strength of certain mages.
 Let's just hope all the academy mages will be released by the end of next year!!!!

I'm excited about this meditating monk!  Mixed with some zone enchantments from academy set and core set this little guy could kick some butt.  Especially when they need to jump into battle or defend a some, or channel some important mana.  And they are level one so 4-6 of these guys could provide huge mana surges.  I'm pumped for this set.  Also, last thing by being in mind school it could see some play in force master books.

I think tangle vine is awesome too.   I am considering it more in my books outside of nature school as well.  It does seem like a must. 


I feel knockdown incantation provides a similar role in taking down creatures, especially flyers. It may not use up opponents actions in multiple rounds like tanglevine but it is quite effective for its cost.
