Academy only has a single Zone... and with one exception, Traps can';t target a Zone with enemy creatures in it. What you are looking for are Arena cards, not Academy.

You are correct, I am looking for Arena cards. Pity there hasn't been any new ones released in a while. The arena needs more trap cards like that, and tar and frost would have worked perfectly for more options in that regard.

I'm a touch disappointed that the Tar Trap and Frost Trap target creatures directly, rather than targeting a zone like other trap enchantments.

Say, are you using the Magic Set Editor to make these? I happened upon your post in the Grimiore 2.0 topic with the links to the mage wars cards template, and I've been playing around with that. For the life of me though, I can't figure out how to add the attack bars to the creature cards. Any hints?

I'm still an amateur when it comes to deck building, but my project deck would probably be my Angel Fortress. It's a priestess deck, and it it uses the Temple of Light built in the middle of the board, powered up with a bunch more temples in the back row protected by steel walls. The Temple of light itself is protected by Sacred Ground, Fortified Position, and some Guardian Angels. Some Royal Archers thrown in to supplement the Temple of Light.

With the release of Paladin vs Siren, I'm seeing a whole bunch of potential upgrades I can make to this deck. Malakai's Basilica is an option, and along with that Luminous Blast and Artemis. Maybe a steep hill.

Hello. I was wondering, are there any plans to make blank spell cards available? I've got ideas for custom spells for Mage Wars knocking around in my head that I'd like to make into a reality. However, I've been unable to find any templates or blank cards I can use. Something that I could edit in a picture, and fill out the texts and icons with my own stuff.

If there aren't any plans to release anything like this, would I get in trouble if I made my own? And maybe eventually post my custom spells in the creative forum. I just really enjoy the Mage Wars game and want to expand it myself in a small way just for fun, but I don't want to step on any legal toes.

Eventually, the promo cards should find their way into a future expansion one way or another. So, if you're patient, there will be another way to get them even if you miss or can't afford the kickstarter.

How about a poltergeist type ghost or spirit, if you're looking for a mind/dark creature? It could attack with waves of force, or maybe use an area attack where it creates a whirlwind of debris. Maybe receiving a bonus if there's corporeal conjurations in the square.

This idea sounds like a whole lot of fun. Unfortunately, I've no idea where I can get a blank card or template to work with. I've tried searching for them on google, but I've had no luck.
