12-14 October 2018
MAGE WARS from Saturday morning 10 AM - NON STOP - until Sunday evening 18:30 PM
The main idea is to attract new players - so you will be able to come and go as you please
Arena Tournament ideas:
Championship: starts 10 AM Saturday morning. Knockout matches - to the death - likely to have some kind of time limit like 2-3 hours.
Rookie Championship: Rockies and non-experts players. Core set only We provide spellbooks.

Play all 14 mages.
Bounty:
Beat Keejchen, Biblo (me) or Alexander and get a prize!
Best Mage:
Play up to 4 matches with your favorite mage. Whoever has the best record wins a prize.
Domination and Academy available
We might start more tournaments up and do some spellbuilding workshops.
In general we are just going to have fun and play a lot of Mage Wars

Mages / Re: The Challenges of the Priestess
« on: August 11, 2018, 10:16:12 AM »My favorite mage is the Priestess because she possesses a lot of lasting power. With the combination of her special ability that gives her one extra permanent life the first time she casts a Holy Enchantment or Incantation during a turn and her massive number of Holy Enchantments and Incantations after Siren vs Paladin, she can easily reach 50 life during a game. The problem is that she is highly dependent on Creatures for damage and protection, so she will never win a fast game (though I tend to win most games with her despite her slow buildup). What challenges do you face with the Priestess and what do you do to compensate for them?
Priestess always been a very solid Mage. Slow- Slow - Slow and long - long - long games thats the "challenge"
After Finite Life doesn't work anymore i am afraid she is OP.
Which also mean that i consider Paladin and Priest very strong mages now.
Priest was pretty bad before but now its different. I guess thats a good thing.

I play Falcons because i get flying for 1 mana compared to Foxes.
Is having a better economy the way to win at Mage Wars?
If the answer is yes - well Wizard seems strong then.

If the Warlord cast all tree equipment spells would the not each follow the spell steps?

2. Pay Cost
3. Counter Spell
4. Resolve
If that's the case you could reveal and stop/cancel one of the equipment spells.

We tried to make it easier to arrange matches - so you could just play whoever Is available.
So you can just anyone but Shark (he already won his match)

Great
If we don´t get an 8 player before saturday (august 11) we will play everybody vs everybody.
Which would mean 6 matches for everybody.
I would get back in even after being killed by a Shark (burned naturally)
Don´t wait fro brackets or anything just find whoever is available.
