where are these spoiled at?  all of them are not in the forum, nor are they all spoiled in the news tab.  Is there a thread that shows them all?

I have a general question, I may be missing something, but why are the spoilers scattered to the four winds?  It is not simple to find them.  Some are in the 'news' tab, some are in a half dozen forums, some are only on facebook.  Why is there not just one thread or location on the mage wars site that list and updates the spoilers?

Rules Discussion / Corrode vs resilent
« on: September 10, 2013, 09:02:22 PM »
On the news it is stated that "This object is incredibly resistant to damage. This object ignores all non-critical damage from Attacks. Direct damage, and attack effects, occurs normally."
Under the discussion of the corrode effects of the raptor it talks about  "...Corrode is a powerful weapon against zombies as they have no natural armor and very few ways to gain any."

If the resilient zombie is immune to non-critical direct damage, I do not know of any critical direct damage how is corrode going to be effective regardless of the state of the zombies armor?

note: I found the answer.  there is a period at the end of the sentence of non-critical damage from Attacks, not a comma.  Direct damage and attack effects are a new sentence.  Thank you for reading this

Rules Discussion / Re: Competitive MW round/match rules

Will the rule doc be posted here or on the mw homepage.  I have some promo cards and need to know if I need to change my spell book prior to the tourny. Will there be game boards available? I haven't been to an Origins before and do not desire to tote around the entire box if I can just bring the spell book.  Thank you

General Discussion / A question about "Turn to Stone"
« on: April 18, 2013, 09:01:42 AM »
The spell Turn to Stone has the following  statement "You cannot reveal Turn to Stone during an action, such as an attack or spell." How is this different than five listed on page 19 of the rule book, summarized below?
1) at the end of any phase,
2) Immediately after a creature is activated,
3) immediately after a creature completes its move action, but before the quick action,
4) at the end of any of the eight steps of an attack or 3 steps of casting a spell
5) immediately after casting?

I believe it means once they announce the creature is making an attack or casting a spell it is too late to activate it, but it could be activated immediately after a creature is activated is this right?

General Questions / Re: Shift Enchantment question
« on: April 17, 2013, 10:23:01 AM »
I really do not think it is a major issue, not game changing.  In the example above it would cost 2 mana to cast the Circle of Fire and 6 to reveal it, if it was cast on a mage. Shifting it from a non-mage to a mage would be similar cost overall. Two to cast, 4 to reveal, (non-mage) and 2 plus the additional quick cast to move it to a mage.
In the first example you are spending one quick-cast and a total of 8 mana.  Moving it would cost you 8 mana and two quick-cast actions.  I dare say it is six of one and half-dozen of the other.  Regardless it is an interesting discussion.

I agree with your evaluation and want to thank you for the response, it was a similar argument that I used after the game. However, rules-lawyers would continue that the Shift enchantment spell does not refer to the reveal cost, it states that the cost is equal to the level of the spell if it is revealed.
Which would allow the shift enchantment spell to fall under the 'magic rule' on conflict between the text on a spell card and the rules.

General Questions / Shift Enchantment question
« on: April 17, 2013, 08:52:55 AM »
I have a question about the shift enchantment spell and enchantments with Magebind.  The shift enchantment spell states that the casting cost x is the level of enchantment if it is revealed. I cast an enchantment like Circle of Fire on a non-mage creature it would cost 2 mana to cast and 4 to reveal. The cost of moving this spell to another non-mage creature would be 2, it is a level 2 spell.  What would the cost be to move it to a mage?
My thoughts are conflicted. Looking at the rules for magebind the +2 is paid when the spell is revealed. Since the reveal cost has been paid therefore the shifting cost should be 2.  The total cost for casting and revealing it on the mage would be the same as casting it on a non-mage and moving it.  This does not seem quite right.
