Custom Cards / Re: War Spells (Part 2)

I love the idea of the trap. There could be a whole mage based on spells like those; that'd be fun, at least for the player running that mage

The tie breaker (in current format) goes to the mage who has been dealt the least amount of damage. This means that if I do 20 points of damage to the priestess over the course of a game and she heals 11 of it and in turn does 18 damage to me, I win the tie having done more damage to her during the game than she did to me.
Healing is not a factor in tie-breakers.

I just made a habit of slightly pushing the card up with my thumb nail from the bottom of the card. For some reason, they are all like this from all manufactures.
The monster ones aren't, not at least the ones I have. Each page is double sided and loads from the side.
mine dont! that sounds cool! Mine are pretty old. Are yours newer?
We time the planning phase like this: as soon as one player is done, he/she turns a 30s hourglass, and that is how long time the other player has left to decide.
Coloured card sleeves are usefull in MW to see owner of given card.
I would like to see protectors designed for MW for more thematic value. Of course, you can make art simmilar to spell book covers, but I have different idea.
Most time you will see revers of the card is when you have prepared spells or hidden enchantments. It would be thematic, if those cards would look like magic power. You could make specific artwork for each mage or school. In example:
Priestess/Paladin/Holly - Light aura
Necromancer/Warlock/Dark - some purple clouds
Beastmaster/Druid/Nature - spring greek fairy dust/whirling leaves
Wizzard/Arcane - blue/purple magic sparkling dust
Forcemaster/Mind - some mind lightnings
Illussionist/Mind - no idea
Sorcerer - no idea
Warlord/War - forge sparks or some blood rain/cloud
Air - little whirlwind
Fire - whirling flames (subtele - so they wouldn't look like finnished spell)
Water/Earth - no idea
They could be packed 80 in package - so there should be enough for every page in spellbook.
There was actually a time when we thought of doing puzzle cut pieces for the arena so they could be made in any shape or size. The only problem was cards kept snagging where the zones interlocked, we hated that aspect of it.
Check in often to see some of the new spells from the upcoming Forcemaster vs Warlord expansion...
one of the books is really bent so that the back and front cover are really skewed and don’t line up.

Novice spells never cost extra even if its not a school the mage is trained in....I get 120 for all.
Thanks, that makes sense. I never really looked at too many healing-oriented cards in general, which sounds like it would have answered my question.
Quote from: "Thessial" post=6860The Sell Sheet is still accurate in terms on product contents.
The Forcemaster Vs. Warlord expansion will contain:
216 Spell Cards
2 Custom Spellbooks
2 Mage Cards
2 Mage Ability Cards
Die-cut markers (These are the health and mana marker variety.)
Rules
Action Markers (packaged separately) are heading out to distributors today.
Hope this gives you some clarity.

this setup really bothers me. you should strive for consistency in your products. if you plan to include 2 spell books and markers in every expansion i am quickly going to have to start throwing things away from my new purchases. i realize your still small and new so your trying to meet multiple needs but with a game like this your products really need to be focused. Players are less likely to make purchases when a products price gets ramped up by items they don't need.
