I'm pretty sure it will work on other drokarrs because of what the card says "while attacking the drokarrs prey" so as long as -a- drokarr has it it should work against it but I haven't had this question yet. I don't know though the apostrophe makes it seem like only that drokarr gets it its kinda weird I think it should be explained a little better.

yes I like altar of infernia to but I think people see it as a attacking conjuration when I think it's better at defending your own stuff because if you play against a solo mage build or a buddy build your usually gonna see a lot of melee buffs in those books but with the altar it really kills there dice rolling ability so if you just run creatures with high attacks for a base like knight of Westlock or mhghedden they don't really need melee buffs so it won't stop your strategy.

does it come with the mage wars games and expansions or did you buy it separate?

I own every thing for mage wars as of right now and I don't think I've seen any kind of book or story for mage wars past, I don't know if I'm missing it or if there isn't one the only one I have read is the dominations rule book has some lore on how the vtar orbs came to be with the dragons and all but I would like to see a book with like back stories on each mage even if it's just like a page or something telling about there training or something like that.

I think the conjuration minds eye is the best new spell in LG I made a force master just because of it, the ability to be able to cast spells across the arena like that is unmatched in the mage wars wrold and especially with the force master if you have some thought spores and some minds eyes out with a wall of thorns you can kill just about anything in the game if you can get the set up right.

Those books sound pretty wicked man!

Against a druid I definitely wouldn't cast that Water Elemental. Luckily you still have a ton of points you could put toward specifically dealing with her.

That Paladin also sounds pretty sweet. I think it could be viable if you take light of dawns and light attcks spells. Also Alandell isn't as as you can pump the stun, but its a lot of mana.
I do run dawnbreakers and light attack spell I just couldn't remember those names right then and it's a really high mana curve for the paladin so I'm still working on stuff for him and then the force master vs druid was just super hard to deal with because she had tons of armor I couldn't get rid of and then everything being hydro immune but luckily I had thought spores and the new eye conjugation in lost grimimore to kill her with spells

Ive recently made a force master book with the water elemental because it's a beast a little on the expensive side for spellbook points but it's 5 dice and the push is really good utility for a force master with a couple of wall of thorns out but I played a druid with it and luckily a fairly new mage the druid player was so I was able to pull out a win but didn't get to cast the elemental till 3 or 4 rounds before the game was over just because all of the plants our hydro immune so does anyone have any ways of dealing with them without changing the water elemental or maybe should I just take it out? also I built a paladin book around alfyia to use her special ability when you roll a daze with a light attack do 2 direct damage so I run the new 5 cost clerics to activate Alfyia then do all the light attack buffs I can on the paladin then go hit the other mage with his light Saber or the 5 cost light attack from pvs can't remember the name right now does that sound like a viable strategy?

I'm a warlock player and of course I was excited for drokarr but I like quite a few of the new cards alot of the new creatures with grapple actually I think they'll be a really big game changer if you get them to work right like the crocodile,crab,and kraken.

Pentagram is not horrible, but I wouldn't combine it with your creature selection. (pretty big guys)
Also, Goran cannot be cast with pentagram!
I can spawn all the big creatures have with the 3 round open that I do and what do you mean you wouldn't combine them with my creature selection?

So this book is based off an araxian crown warlock that my friend runs that is very good. His is curse heavy and is primarily a solo build. My initial thought was that his deck idea would run better with the priest due to his holy avenger and base attack. Then it morphed into what it is now, the win condition is to starve the mana of the other person while shooting them, while this is usually happening your holy avenger perferably white cloak knight is in there face.

Turn 1: battle forge + mana crystal

Turn 2: bow off of battle forge + hawkeye fd + dawnbreaker ring

That's the opening I've ran in the couple games ive played it won both games so far the 1st being against sharkeys siren and 2ND being against a necro swarm.
I have also played up against Justin's deck and it is insane never seen another one like it but you might need other ways to roll dice on people maybe even enchantment transfusion for you holy avenger if dies to move it to the unicorn and drop a cheetah speed on it to run into there mage and I would double up on Hawkeye too

I don't think pentagram is as good as the other spawners either but warlock is my favorite mage and I like a challenge but first round is pentagram then harmonize onto it 2nd round is meditation amulet then enchanter ring round 3 I can drop a dark pact slayer or blood demon every round for the rest of the game with a face down enchantment onto them as well and I have also went 3 and 0 in the last tournament I played with it and it should have 2 curse items and a couple of other things in to but the speel book builder did not have those cards for me to chose
