Wished Arcane Duels had this card for spoilering. There is so much about it!

1) Fist Mind creature in a very long time
2) New Subtype - MONK
3) Flavour text mentioned Sem Ki, which is also on [mwcard=DNQ10]Meditation Amulet[/mwcard]. I am more and more curious if Monks are under Bim-Shalla
4) "Mana Crystal" for Holy or Mind mages :)

Well, it amazes me, that no one so far wished merry holidays to everyone.

I think that thanks to time zones and diffrerent customs in each nation ( https://jakubmarian.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/12/christmas-gift-bringers.jpg ) i will be probably among the first who will be unwrapping presents, so let me wish you a lot of joy and peace, proper feast and enough free time for things that matters to all of you mostly. (probably Mage Wars ;) )

I would also like to thank to this community for being this awesome and AW crew for being more than awesome (and patient while responding to my question :) ). I will not write here a list of names, because it would be way too long but let me thank you to you guys, who are behind all those community projects, fan cards, modes, stories, memes or just polite answers. Thank you!

Rules Discussion / Mana Siphoon vs. Divine Intervention

Here is the situation.

Player A, casted mana Siphoon.
Player B revelead Divine Intervention during casting steps and teleport himself out of reach.

Is now Player A forced to choose himself as a terget?

I would say no, and that there is standing a Mana Siphoon without purpouse but i would like to have it official or at least Zuberized :)

Here i am thinking, why would someone let Warlock study on Academy. Then i remember slytherin :)

Opening

1. Rnd (19 mana) I move into lowest center and cast Barracks (12 mana) left lowest corner and Construction Yard (7 mana) right lowest corner.
2. Rnd (9 mana + 2 barracks + 1 Const. Yard) I will cast G.Builder from barracks (5 mana), QC Generals Signet (3 mana) and Full Cast Goblin Grunt (3 mana)
3. Rnd (9 mana + 2 barracks + 2 Const. Yard) Now it all depends on my enemy and his behaviour.

I was hoping that i will be able pump out all 6 goblin grunts and Gourmash and start dealing some dmg and keep my enemy occupide while i will build archers watch tower or other outposts and cast Talos, which wouhld shatter my enemy actions more and more. I still dont know, how much efficient would goblins in first rounds will be.

Important cards:

Horn of Gothos - i will have goblins in smaller groups and thus i need to be able cast FAST battle order on whole arena.
Standard Bearer - at first, i was planning on using asyran defender as a standard bearer but will try it on Gurmash in first games. +1 Attack and +1 Armor is obvious.
Mark For Death - on mage or its biggest creature
Rolling Fog - together with FAST battle order, i hope i will improve Goblins survivability further.

Armory - i am still not sure about this. +1 Armor would be fine on Butchers, Defenders or Skeletal Sentries, not on G.Grunts. I dont believe that they will survive a medium attack even if they have 1 armor.

Altar of Carnage + lots of goblins = great mana income + mana on Const.Yard which i would like to spend on second part of my plan which is Dwarf Sniper in tower, with Hawkeye and Akiros Favor behind earth walls. I hope that Dwarf would be able trough "Piercing battle order" and "Sniper Shot Incantation" bind on "Command helmet" deal enough dmg to shut down all those nasty Conjurations like Idol of Pestilence, Altar of Skulls, Mordok Obelisk, Suppresion Orb or Spawnpoints. I was hoping for Akiros hammer with indirect trait but dwarf will do better and it is not limited on corporeal conjurations only.

Etherian Life Tree - this is a great "out of my first plan card". If my opponent had one or two big creatures, their health gain will still be +2 to +6 on their side. If i had 4 to 6 goblins, it will be 8 to 16 life on my side. Also, it will provide more time if my oponent cast Idol of pestilence.

Akiros Battle Cry - this card seems to be super usefull but still i dont feel confident about it. It is designed for Swarms but its cost/effectivity ratio is pretty low.

For armored targets, i have rust and goblin alchemists. For well protected targets i have Sniper and for Turtles i have a Talos prepared. There are still lot of holes and cards and great "What ifs..." but i hope i cover the basics.

I hope, that in the future there will be Goblin Shaman and its Altar of Viper Fangs, which will provide rot possibility for all goblin melee attacks.

Feel free to tear this build apart, only trough mistakes one is becoming a master :)

First of all, this may also belong to SB construction but i am in a middle of this process, so i hope, i post it in the right section.

Well, Goblin swarm. It amazes me that no one ever try to build one (or at least write about it here on forums :) ) Right now, i am trying to create goblin swarm using

6 goblin grunts
2 goblin alchemists
3 goblin slingers
2 goblin builders
1 gurmash

1 rnd: My opening would be barracs plus construction yard. (19 - 12 - 7 = 0 Mana) and moving in low middle.
2 rnd: G.builder from barracs, Signet ring from QC and full cast goblin grunt (9/+2/+1/ - 4 -3 -3 =  0/0/+1)
3 rnd: G. Grunt from barracs, G. Grunt from Fullcast and A.tower as QS (9/+2(2)/+1(2) -3 -4 - 4 = 2/0/0)

I would like to use a builder for Altar of Carnage deployment or Garison post deployment. My concern is, if goblins gruns are not too much squishy so it would be better to start casting goblin slingers right away and use battle orders for increased ranged dmg.

I would welcome any kind of insight. I am gonna tinker around until next week when i will have finally time to have a normal game for my build testing :)

It seems, new OP kit is on its way. I try to decode all information from low-res picture. If you know more or have exact information, please share :)

1. Fire Elemental >> 20 Mana flame creature with 5 dice flame attack and dmg barrier.
2. Spiked armor >> 9 Mana War school armor >> Mage gain dmg barrier, Lightning +/- X and something else which i cannot decode right now
3. Bloodwave Greatbow >> 12 Mana War school creature, 4 dice 1-2 ranged attack and some text about piercing +2
4. Raincloud >> 8 mana Air&Water school creature. Creatures under it will gain Flame and Acid -2 trait, Regenerate +1 trait. Some text folows when mage do something something happen but its unclear :)

Mages / Insect Mage

There is a lot of Insect creatures out there.

Giant Wolf Spider, Tartaree, Ichterlid and from promos Lightning Beetle and Deaths Head Scorpion but still no Insect oriented mage. I know it is just a matter of time and my imagination is still puting a "Shaman mage" as an answer to my Insect questions but i would like to speculate here what kind of traits he/she or both alternatives will posses. Insect/Swarms build is my first option when i speculate here. Also Insect >> Zombie and i love Egg mechanic from Ichterlid so maybe a "hurry, i must kill my own creature before "IT" will hatch!" will be added.

This could be fun. When "hive queen" damages opponents creature, put a token on enemy creature. Each upkeep phase, that creatrue owner roll a d12 dice. If roll correctly, creature is destroyed and a "hive slave" creature is putted into play. This works only on level 1-2 creatures.

If i have two temples of dawnbreaker, how did they interact?

I fully understand which dice throws they affect but if i have two of them, can i use both temples on one dice throw? For example one for yellow dice and second on all atack dice? Or force player to reroll his red dice twice?

I have 2 starts. It depends on which enemy is before me. I know i have two copies of  rings but our current meta is focused on destroing those.

1) Forest is my castle

1. Druids Leaf ring (2) + Mana Flower (4) (19-2-4)=13 + 10 Channel
2. Togorah (20) + Hawkeye or Enchantment ring or Sacred ground - depending on enemys behavior (23-20-2)=1 + 11 Channel
3. Mana Flower (4) + revealing enchantements or casting more enchantements or casting eagleboots :) (12-4-(under5)=4 or 3 + 12 channel
4. I have 15 mana for Kralathor (plant ring discount) or GiantWolf or VineTree

2) Night of the Spiders

1. Druids Leaf Ring (2) + Vine Tree ( 8 ) (19-2-8)=10 Channer 10
2. Now i have 20 mana to cast Spider or Kralathor depending on enemy + Mana flower (4)  (20-15-4)=1 +11 channel
3. Mana Flower (4) + Depending on enemy - Tangelvine, Strangelvine from vine tree, Enchantement on Spider ( 5) = (12-4-5)=3+12
4. Another Spider

From here, i am focusing to stop enemies thx to stuck conditions from whine staff + spiders, using flowers, thornslashers + bloodspine wall combos, and Fellala to buff spiders.

Forest is my castle is a heavy turtle build. I want to treebond Togorah, buff it and if my enemy is turtling too, port Togorath to his camp or invite enemy mage into my house. Etherian Life tree is there to put more healt on tangelvine/strangelvine and flowers. If Fellala would have no targets to cast enchantements, i put 4 decoys, let her to cast them and then with reveal, transfer mana from her to me.

Also, if Togoroth dies, armor + Rhino armor+ barkskin and veteran belt could helped a little :-)

I would welcome any criticism or your ideas. :)
