It's all about hitting the pavement, sometimes for long drives, to help spread this game.

I'm scared about what you two have planned; it can't be good.

It's not so much the time driving her, it's the miles.

But here's the thing: I'm still way more excited for GenCon then I should be.

I agree with everything above. It'll happen, before GenCon. Then we will go to GenCon and celebrate, after I drive 6-ish hours.

I use Dragon Shield clears. I have all of my cards, except my apprentice books, in clear. I also sleeve every card I get, that way they are ready to go, should I ever need it. Most people go with colors, which is just fine, I figure I would do clear to show off the back of the card to to be slightly different.

And does it play like normal sleeves? I've found some clear sleeves were just subpar.

I have never had any issues with Dragon Shields. The KMCs are also very nice. I want to use Ultra-Pro Matte, but that damn silver dot just kills me. Max Protect 2.0, or whatevers, aren't too bad either, but they scuff quick.

I have actually been working on something very, very similar to this Andy.  It's definitely fun to run up on someone with a priest when they think you are going to send in dudes.

But what if we have an Ambassador playing an Ambassador mage playing against another Ambassador as an Ambassador mage? Haha

Just busting your chops.

That's honestly a tough one. I am booked up until the last weekend in July. Then GenCon in August. July 6th might not be terrible, just getting my car dipped in the morning.

Sounds like a neat spin. I don't know if you want to use "Ambassador" for a name seeing as that what the community leaders are called for Arcane Wonders.

I will gladly come into Pittsburgh, but Phantom is a little small. Legions on the other hand is pretty big. I will be than willing to run demos, play a few rounds (I don't have any custom books built yet), and help anyone out.

I drive to Pittsburgh everyday for work, so what's a day off driving into Pittsburgh?

I'm trying to decide if I would want to do color or play-by-play.

I personally took a fair share of photos from the events. As per play-by-play, didn't really do much of that.  Maybe that could be a thing for the future. Twitch.tv and do a play-by-play for the 1st place matches in each tourney.

There are a few of us that have a pretty good idea as if we are or not. I know Pat said he got a lot of applications. Give him  little bit more time since Origins just ended.

I do hope to hear soon though.

To my knowledge, there was only one I can think of. I wouldn't say more than three would have gone to time.  A lot of the newer people played pretty quickly.

Are the wednesdays and saturdays when you play at the Vault, or is that at another FLGS?  I'm just generally trying to find some people to play with in Pittsburgh, but its a little hard to figure out from this thread if anybody is actually currently playing, or if they are, exactly when and where.

Yes. Those are the days I try to be at the store. The owner has been shifting days around though, so we are still trying to get a set day.
