Due to the server being hacked (several times now)

I am in the process of reinstalling but this will take time as we also need to be able to move to an updated version of the software.

Things will look weird around here for a while and will take time to get things like attachments back in place.

And we are back

Update: issue has been corrected and avatars restored.

Investigating an issue with avatars and staying logged in.

The SMF server software has been upgraded to 2.0.19 and the forums have been migrated over to the new AW hosting server.

No issues detected, but let me know if you come across anything weird.

additionally the forums have been moved to SSL (https://) so those who were auto-logged in may need to relogin again.

They are out-of-stock on the retail side (retailers didn't stock enough of them). They will be back in-stock in a couple of weeks everywhere, and we will be launching a bundle on our web shop by the end of the week.

I know that Dice Tower Con has sold out in the past (and may be already, I’m not sure), so I would recommend getting a badge in advance to attend.

Concerning the Academy expansions, I just received word last week that they have gone into manufacturing. The first two have been solicited to distribution for launch in October this year. Based on timing, the second two expansions will likely be held for launch in Spring 2019.

I’ll be reaching out to the Arcane Duels team to begin work on previews and videos after I return from Origins Game Fair, so we’ll start seeing cards and information posting starting in August. It’s later than I anticipated earlier in the year, but I have a number of items I’ve been working on (including the ambassador program). I still need to get approval on a number of things, but I hope to have more to share soon.

Anticipate a stream of updates coming on the Mage Wars FB page and we’ll be “leaking” some items as soon as the next few weeks.

We'll have a good amount of new promo items to hand off for the people playing Mage Wars this year at Origins.

If you're attending Dice Tower Con in Orlando the week of July 4th, we'll be there and I can hook you up with some Mage Wars promos. If not, we're getting a new promo pack around that will be available on the website after convention season (probably October timeframe).

Due to past struggles with delivering when we say we're going to deliver, I'm not starting any spoilers --nor am I announcing anything until the print files are actually at the printer and I have an estimated date of arrival of the final product.

We have plans to have 4 Mage Wars Academy mages released this year. Dates for these mages are still unknown as final development is still in process.

Current plans are to work with Arcane Duels for spoiler videos of different cards in addition to showing them off via social media. We also plan to send all card art files to Grga for inclusion with his spellbook builder as each set is released.

Our policy at this time is that we don't announce a new product until the files have been sent to our manufacturer. That equates to approximately 3-4 months before the retail launch.

This is due to times in the past where we said "XYZ is coming in Spring" and then Spring comes and goes.
