If you are going to make one last Lost Grimiore, please Please PLEASE announce it here when it comes out. I almost missed one of the expansions because nothing about it was said here, and this is the place I check for Mage Wars news.

Just spitballing ideas here, but for the 'second in command' pet ability, what about giving the pet channeling, and the ability to either cast command spells, or duplicate command spells that the warlord casts. In a sort of 'relaying the order' sort of way?

Gotta admit, I'm rather annoyed at Arcane Wonders. They make a great game, and I've been lurking on this forum hoping for more news. But then I miss the release of Elementalist and Druid because of their silence here. By the time I knew they were out and available to purchase, many places were already sold out! Luckily, I was able to find copies in a more obscure online store, but still, it was annoying. And now it nearly happened again.

Why aren't these new expansion releases being announced on Arcane Wonder's own website?

Elementalist vs monk for arena would be cool I think. Don't know if it will happen though.

I honestly would be okay with that. Assuming they also threw in some proper conjurations as well, and maybe some zone enchantments. But it'd be better if they gave Mage Wars Arena some proper love too.

Monk and Necromancer for Academy? What about Arena?

Thanks for your feedback! Like I said, I'm still relatively inexperienced with mage wars, even though I've collected all the sets. Not many games to be had where I live. How would you recommend I balance the overpowered cards? Or should they just be scrapped?

Edit: Also, just for fun a joke card.

So, after seeing a lot of the cool custom cards people have made here, I decided to try my hand at it. I haven't played near as much Mage Wars as I would have liked, so the balance on these is probably horribly out of whack.

Anyway, a couple of custom keywords
Blink: This is pretty much a copy of the Keyword made by ACG. A blinked creature is teleported one space in a randomly selected cardinal direction. If this would have them teleport into an arena wall, that blink is instead ignored. Multiple blinks occur one right after another.

Pause: A lesser version of banish. A creature that has a pause token cannot act, cannot be damaged, and cannot be targeted save for spells that remove condition markers. However, unlike banish, it remains in the zone. The condition marker itself can be removed by cards that remove condition markers. Pause has a removal cost of 3. Every upkeep phase, one pause token is removed from each creature that has pause tokens.

I love the 'Oven the Deaf' card. An interesting mechanic of an attack causing him to be pushed back.
