How large are the tiles? Similar size to the zones in the standard Arena board?

Not sure how the environment effects will be in play; not sure how much I'll play the new game mode...

But the prospect of a modular board is quite exciting at the very least. This all sounds cool, and I can't wait to hear more / get a release date.

I can't complain. Another X vs. Y expansion is great and all, but I'd rather them put out these variants first; they're more exciting (to me). Plus, as you said, hooking more players is always good.

I just found it a bit odd because, as I recall, PvS was supposed to be the next release.

That would be awesome. I'm planning to be there this Sunday for their open gaming, or possibly one of the earlier weekends in November. I have a grad. school qualifier in the middle of the month so things will get really busy around then.

From the DFW Nerd Night video, it sounded like they said that this expansion would come after Domination, and Domination would be out in March-April next year.

The anticipation is killing me.

I'm in the Medford area. Haven't come across players but... haven't actively looked either. Comicazi's Wednesday open gaming doesn't currently work for my schedule, but I need to check out Pandemonium in Cambridge. Might be a few players, or a few people who can be converted.
