Renewing Rain has only a limited effect for your non-living creatures... the removal of Burns. You lose the small healing ability for those creatures, so it is a little less powerful for the Necro than many others. There are a lot of Burn sources though.... I'm just iffy on whether it's important enough to include. I think you can use the spellbook points elsewhere more effectively.

Also, Gravikor and the Vampiress together is a little counterintuitive. You lose the ability to give her Flying in many cases when Gravikor is out. I love Gravikor for a Necro... it's just that I don't think the Vampiress fits well. So... if you do remove her in favor of something else, that's even one fewer living creature in the mix for the Renewing Rain to heal.

I think I'd remove the Vampiress and Renewing Rain, and use the points for other items.

The Libro now is susceptible to being cursed with Curse Item. I've been thinking of going with the Graveyard with my Necro since there are always other things for my Dispels to be doing instead. You just have to know to save a Dispel for an emergency curse removal... especially against a dark mage. The two Mage Wands might come in handy here... but they are such Dissolve bait, I don't know if you can count on them to be around when you need it.

Also... on the whole Spawnpoint issue... I'm not sure you have enough Creatures to warrant having either one... especially if you are planning to hard cast the first two creatures yourself.

I do not understand why you want to mix Skeletal Knights and Zombie Brutes. I'd go with 2-4 of one or the other, and pick my other spells (Zombie Frenzie, Reassemble, etc.) to complement the type of undead chosen. There are times where adding skeleton types to a zombie book makes sense to me, such as when you want ranged attacks from the Skeletal Archers or the Fast trait from the Deathfang, for example... I just don't get the mixing of the two big melee types.

While fire spells are very prominent i understand your point and 5 sbp is a lot for one card and it is very situational.  I do think it is a very good card, however.  It may go in and out of this book, i'll just have to see. 

so my intent was that if they place a blood demon, angel, or something then the vampiress would be a good counter to that.  If there is a swarm of flyers going on then that is when I would plan to drop gravikor.  but honestly i havent played a book yet that has used any flyers :/ so i cant say one way or another which i prefer.  but for now i have kept both the vamp and gravikor.

I have always loved the graveyard, it just seems very vulnerable with the 1 armor that everytime I  play it, it is taken down easily.  That being said, all it takes is one dissolve and the libro is gone for good unless i lose 3 life...
I decided to swap the libro for the graveyard. In doing that, I removed armor ward, 5sbp card, since I do not have a libro to protect anymore. 1 less contingency to worry about.

I chose the knights originally for the defense and 1 armor. after reading this and testing them out, resilient zombies, in my experience have proven to be much more survivable - saving the 2 mana per cast helps too when casting a brute over a knight.

At first glance I'd say this is a very solid book at its core.
You only have the details left to work out imo.

My suggestions :

- Remove Renewing Rain and save 5 sbp : It's a situational card and therefore 5 sbp's is too much to invest in it imo and besides I'd rather use that 9 mana to summon another creature.

- Armor Ward : another 5 sbp card but this one may be worth it. I'd add a second Nullify though.

- I'd probably prefer a second Cloak of Shadows over an Elemental Cloak ( if you have the sbp's for it ). Again, the Elemental Cloak is situationally useful for him but Cloak of Shadows is more useful overall and often more effective ( vs ranged attacks/spells )

- I'd drop Animate Dead. Do you have any special plans with this card ?

- I'd add another Dissolve or Crumble : I understand you want to stay away from the enemy mage, but that enemy mage may end up close anyway ;) so that extra card might come in very handy in that case.

- another props : as a personal rule of thumb I think every competitive book needs at least two walls .... ;)

on renewing rain, I have debated this or raincloud  - right now, i have cut both.

animate dead has helped me so much in many games.  I have had so many times where i drop rise again and go for the kill right after only to not get enough dmg through and then it gets seeking dispelled.  This is one card i usually put on a wand when I can.

ideally,
t1 : mana crystal, brace yourself or death ring (most likely by)
t2: skeletal knight, leather
t3: skeletal knight or brute, leather

from there use libro or drop the idol.  I dont plan on getting close to the enemy mage so i only packed 1 dissolve. renewing rain is for if 2 or more zombies have burns on them.  retaliate is there to throw on a brute and I believe the counterstrike will still trigger the bloodthirsty +2 :)
I'm still on edge about armor ward, but we'll see how it goes. the plan is to arcane ward it.  I dont have a battle forge because I want to crank out as many high level, high threat, creatures as possible early on. which is why the libro comes out later. 
the vampire is to deal with flyers and if there are too many then gravikor.

I have found mend to be very helpful with a necromancer because you need to save as much mana as possible especially when using spawn points plus all the other support stuff. Also, since you want to stay back from a distance it helps over vampirism, imo

Here is my fire wizard with some updates.  Biblofilter, good catch with the "spot blockers." I went through staple cards that I figured I should have, then went in later and added more spells from academy and other equipment I thought would be useful and never caught the overlap.  As far as mana vampirism, i figured throwing that on the gargoyle since he would be the guard but he is best for intercepting and idk how much i would use that when they are up close as opposed to a different spell.  I also took out circle of fire...not sure if this will make it back in or not?

but i took out ironvine, dispel, 2flameblast, circle of fire, mana vamp, ignite, combustion, leather boots, supression cloak and added 2mend, crumble, purify, eley wand, bf, akiro's favor, regrowth belt

I would love to add a mage bane or 2 but i think that would better be suited for a gate of voltari book - they take damage and you gain mana for each spell they cast  :D
the only thing i see being very difficult is keeping huginn alive  :P

all in all this was made for fun and i am happy with it for now and hope to see some fun play with it.

So I was just having some fun building a fire wizard, because I never see them played, and this is what I came up with.  I have not tested this out yet so I'm not sure how viable it is but it seems like a pretty fun concept!

I wanted to throw the angel slayer in but he is too expensive, at least for this.  and the fire elemental is not in here because everyone runs 1-2 urging waves and the occasional force hammer :b

The only thing I think I really want to add at some point will be healing spells, at least a minor heal and a mend or something to that effect?

If this was mentioned before my apologies. But if a force wave pushes all creatures 1 zone away to a hellfire/ teleport trap, a spike pit, or any others do they all get affected by it or just 1 creature in the lot?
