Eagle Wings would be perfect in that case.

Revealing eagle wings cannot counter knockdown because creatures lose and cannot gain flying while incapacitated

I meant eagle wings for the Knight.

Here's the thread for the one tournament I've won with my Priestess book.

I don't think we need 2 different threads, just some sort of special reference that this is a tournament winning book.

You want the Hand of Bim-Shalla to buff Metatron & Temple of Light even more. It's a cheap temple and it's flexibility is awesome. Based on my count, you only have 4-5 zone exclusives since I assume you don't plan on having both Battle Forge & Temple of Asyra out early.

I'm hoping another tournament will be starting when this one finishes?

Off topic / Re: Storage for mage wars markers

Plano boxes are great for tokens and markers. Deck Boxes are great for my actual decks. But I really need a better idea than binders for all my extra cards. I don't take my cards everywhere, but I'd like to be able to transport them more often in case I need to tweak a deck or want to help someone build a deck. Any ideas? Something that would easily fit into a bookbag or laptop bag? I've got tons of sets so there are ALOT of cards.

Regarding dice, that's not a common sense approach. It's a potential approach. I've played many different types of games that if you roll the wrong number of dice, you don't just add more dice to make up the difference, you roll the full correct number of dice. And I have no idea how notes about my book give me any advantage. Should we ban people with photographic memories since they have even more of an inherent advantage. Having notes on others books or strategies would be an issue, but not your own.

Alternative Play / Re: Trainee to Archmage - An epic extended game mode

A cool concept, it would probably be too difficult to fully RPG-ize Mage Wars without a major overhaul. One way I think this system would shine is in long-term playgroup format. All players start at Apprentice level and gain experience that can be applied towards a level up to the next mage strength. Minor boosts between mage levels may be necessary, but the idea of mages leveling up definitely has appeal.

This would work so well with the original Archmages you introduced as well as each current mage could level up into their own Superman's before the final growth into the dual class epic mage. The one thing I'd  like to see carry over from class to class are abilities.

General Discussion / Re: How are you guys / girls building your decks?

Since OCTGN was brought up here and we're talking about building decks and all the new releases, especially Grimoire, that made a lot of promos no longer a promo, is there a list of actual promos out there?

Could a soldier with range 2 in the watchtower hit something in A2 or C2?

Now that terrain can block LOS we may need an update to the Codex definition for Indirect. For example, Steep Hill blocks ranged attacks from an archer's watchtower.

Thoughts?

It does?

Can someone post a list of promos that are still out there after the recent releases?
