Disable markers state "Remove 1 each Reset phase". Still not sure what they do though?

Sardonyx card is visible. Looks like he costs 24 mana. He has 3 attacks! A quick action melee, a full action melee, and what looks like a full action ranged, poison zone attack.

My video quality is terrible so I couldn't make out much else, even on HD. If anything was wrong, or if you were able to pick out more stuff, feel free to correct me!

Overall, pretty cool box though. Seems better than the CoK box.

Hello all. So I've started a blog dedicated only to Mage Wars. It's slightly bare-bones right now but it's a work in progress. My goal with it is to provide a place where both new and experienced players can go to find strategy articles, news about mage wars (card spoilers, upcoming expansions, etc), event reports, different spellbooks, and other stuff.

For new players, hopefully it will be another place where they can go to pick up tips and advice on how to get better at the game and ask any questions they may have.

For experienced players, hopefully I can provide some insight as well. I'm not saying I'm the best Mage Wars player out there, far from it really, but I am in love with the game and felt like it needed a dedicated blog that gets updated pretty frequently.

If anybody wants to write any articles about strategy or spellbooks or anything like that, I would be glad to post them. The more info there is, the better.

I'm also trying to start a podcast, but I don't have very good audio equipment at the moment, so that might take a little while longer.

I just made it today, so I don't have too many posts on there yet. I haven't seen any blogs out there dedicated to Mage Wars, so I thought it was time there was one. Please let me know what I can do to make it better!

For many of us here, myself included, Mage Wars is our favorite game. However, I know there are many other games that people on the forum play.

So my question is, as the title suggests, what other games are you playing currently? Recently I've been playing alot of King of Tokyo. It's a short, fun game that's easy to get into and learn. It's great for almost any age and is a fantastic family game.

He talks about an alternative way to play called "Domination" where the goal is to control certain zones of the board that have special arena objects in them called "power orbs". There were 6 of them, and to win, you needed control of 5. You controlled them if you had a creature in the zone and your opponent did not. Also, for each one you controlled, your mage gained channel +1.

He also talks about how they are releasing modular boards later on with scenarios. This pack will be called "Mage Wars Battlegrounds". This sounds like a fantastic way to play the game. There will be even more strategy than there already is, because you want to keep your opponents creatures out of the zones you control. Walls and other things will become even more important than they already are.

Perhaps this is a lead-in to the Altar of Domination card that we've seen? An alternate win condition where if you control a certain number of zones, you win?

Well, that's all 41 cards people. What do you think of the cards included in this set?

So since there aren't apprentice books for these 2 mages, I thought I would make some. I know that the beastmaster and warlock are generally considered the best 2 mages to use to teach people the game with and I will continue using those for that purpose.

I didn't make apprentice books for the Forcemaster and Druid because I feel like those are 2 of the Mages that are hardest to use properly. I don't want new players to have to deal with that, I want them to be able to pick up a spellbook and use it very easily.

These books are for people who have tried the game a couple times and wish to try other Mages out without advancing to the full game yet.

I had some simple requirements for the books:
1) No conjurations
2) 60 spellbook points or less
3) No more than 2 of any card


Please tell me what you guys think. I'm always open to advice and recommendations!
