Saw this other day on a couple other sites and I guess total of two weeks now but would like to see some actual artwork for it understand if they don't want to release any of the abilities yet sure but I think spoiled Lee artwork would be just fine

Druid looks like couter part to johtari almost while the elementalst looks like might be shaman I have seen in forum from time to time by different name

Yes. Not sure any non-tester knew what mage type the Elementalist's art belonged to though - or that he was an Academy mage. Or the order of releases, since Arcane Wonders keeps pushing a different piece of Academy mage art lately that didn't show up on either of these sets (but is likely coming on one of the next two Academy sets... presumably).

If I was an optimist I would suggest that 'academy night elf' is actually an Arena Elementalist. Same coloured hair, different sex and just a suggestion of blue/white frostiness on the extreme right.

Back when I played DND 3.5 I think there was a race of elves called pale moon elves who had the white hair since the had some drown blood and also lived in the northern ice lands u know like wisconsin. Might be she is based off of that which would be cool for arena. Lol cool it's funny cause talking about ice. :P

It's been over 2 weeks. No comment from any official AW employee or Arcane Duels ambassador, etc. No card spoilers. No confirmation (nor denial) regarding the sets available for preorder.
Surely it couldn't be harmful to reveal a card or two at this point.

GenCon is a few days away; that's where all the news will come from, and if it doesn't, I will let y'all know what's going down personally.

I'm purchasing Druid and Elementalist next Thursday. At which point they're free to be spoiled.

With this (non-existent) brand strategy, nobody should be surprised that this game will not survive in the long run.

There will be a limited number of "pre-release" copies at GenCon. The retailers will receive them in October.

Ah I see thank you sir and understood, really pumped for new stuff and wanted to make sure I didn't miss nothing, got mage wars and 2nd edition pathfinder and xwing to keep track of all releasing about same time lol

Was going to ask the same thing. Other years, Gen Con (pre)releases have arrived at North American retailers by late Sept or early Oct. Not sure what's holding up Academy Druid and Elementalist.

They're being released by a company that no longer cares about the game.

not to put arcane wonders on the hook here. they needed to reprint them because of some quality control errors due to typos, and some misprints on cards and tokens. All were found and noticed by players at gencon during prerelease. Someone at AW dropped the ball. Hopefully we will see the new sets soon.

Is the incorrect text on the Frost tokens one of those? I got two of each set at GenCon. I noticed the error on the Frost tokens as I’ve played a few times since then. If so I’ll be happy that it’ll be corrected in the regular release.

I'm not sure if they are going to reprint them. They certainly should. Freeze tokenz from those prerelease sets are definitely misprints. Freeze should only be removed at the rate of one token after each of the affected creature's activations.
