I think that would also be a good skill for the Academy Druid or Alernative Druid ...

As a fast action, Druid may pay 3 mana to place Grow token on a plant or vine creature in his zone which does not already have on.

Why don't they have the plant subtype?

I give the subtype to them. But they could be nature spirits as well.
