Hello everyone,
The good news: You'll have access to Paladin Vs. Siren on OCTGN now!
The bad news: Bugs may still exist and some automation doesn't work fully yet. Be careful with the SBB, the pirates cost for the siren isn't 100% correct, and the Paladin is getting level 4 + holy and level 3+ war as if they were in school for the time being. Just be aware when making books.
Future news: We will be removing any promo cards that have already been released from the promos set as well as the improperly costed promo Rhino Hide. This is not in the current update, however so you have time to swap promos that have been released with their full versions

Step 1: download the new set (be733b2f-7104-4de5-a64f-11dc0bb8e3a1)
Step 2: download the new scripts folder
Step 3: download the new image pack (MWCards.o8c)
Step 4: take the set folder and place it in the OCTGN directory that should be similar to the following path ....OCTGN\GameDatabase\9acef3d0-efa8-4d3f-a10c-54812baecdda\Sets. I have my OCTGN root directory in the my documents folder, for example
Step 5: take the CONTENTS of the scripts folder and place it in the folder ....OCTGN\GameDatabase\9acef3d0-efa8-4d3f-a10c-54812baecdda\scripts . You will be asked if you want to replace the current scripts, and you will want to hit yes.
Step 6: take the MWCards.o8c file and save it wherever you save your image packs so you can install it through the game manager
Let me know if there are questions/issues. I'm sure there will be.

Will you be putting other missing promos in then (Like the DiceTower Academy promos) at this point?

I've applied this on two machines now - both have the sets and cards fine, but no images (with the image pack downloaded and applied twice!) - anyone else?
Also Sherean Leviathan is missing, but Alfiya is there (as PvS, not Promo)?

At a hockey game for the moment, I'll fix it when i get home. I might have loaded the wrong image pack

Ok, it appears that I uploaded an old set.xml. If you go into the be733b2f-7104-4de5-a64f-11dc0bb8e3a1 folder, grab the set.xml and replace the previous one with it then things should work. Let me know if it is still a problem

That changes the set name to "Playtesting - Paladin vs Siren" but doesn't make the images appear...
Edit: Even after reverting that Set file, we appear to have playtesting texts and values, which are different to the final print run (Over-Extend cost 6 instead of 4, etc)

I'm starting to dislike OCTGN's naming conventions :P.
Anyway, try the set.xml I just posted. I've triple checked, and at least on my end it's got the final version so I'm hoping I got it right this time

the download time or the mw card images is insane. 35 min left, now it says 3 hours left. 1.6 out of 51.1 MB. What the heck? It's never taken more than a few seconds before. What is going on?
EDIT: nvm it suddenly picked up the pace after a few minutes. That was weird!

i installed the image pack and the new images are not showing up at all in the deckbuilder. pls help?

We're currently unable to mess with the image pack at the moment. Sorry about the confusion and delay. That'll be top priority when work is over for the day.

The issue has been solved, please try downloading the most recently uploaded image pack and that should sync up with the set.xml. Sorry for the confusion, let me know if you have issues

I can try to add those tomorrow. Worst case scenario, I can post them somewhere and you can build them.

That's because she's being added to the promo set. She wasn't supposed to be in this set.
OF NOTE: I've hotfixed a few other issues that came up. If you don't want to update everything, just download the new set.xml and the new attachcards.py and replace your old ones (anything you may have downloaded before this post was made is considered old in this case). I'll keep fixing things as I find them

That's because she's being added to the promo set. She wasn't supposed to be in this set.
Yes, that's a shame since I have both in books, but quite understandable - I was surprised to see Alfiya.

Need help i tried following steps and i must have messed up somewhere cause i downloaded the image pack and nothing new there? the part about the script replace never happen for me there both there.

You have top choose to replace when prompted. They can't both be there in the same directory, with the same name? That's fundamentally impossible...
So either you have them in different places, the new one has a different name (usually a "(1)" after it, or "Copy Of") or you didn't copy over that file...

Yea I ended up replacing the old one with the new script and still no luck?

Finally got it to work! I was stupid and the files were all downloaded as zip files so I had to extract the files. But I'm good now and hope to explore the new mages and cards thanks sharkbait for the help!

I think i did everything right, but it still doesnt work. I can see the new cards in my files, but they arent in my spellbookbuilder... Anyone knows what the reason could be? (I'm not a computer genie)

Did you put the zipped folders in the sets folder instead of the extracted ones? That's one issue I've seen so far

I downloaded the files and then replaced the existing ones with these new ones. Was never zipped i think? When and how do i do that? Tx for your help

Sorry, somehow I missed this.
Are the files currently zipped (do they have a .zip as an extension instead of being normal folders?) if they are, you can right click and hit extract. Extract them to the proper folder and they should work

no they arent, the extension is .xml. but it doesn't work. I can see the new cards in the imagedatabasefolders, but not in games i watch or in my spellbookbuilder. When i watch a game the new cards are just the unrevealed side of the cards i see... I tried several times but it doesnt work. Uninstalled everything and tried again but no succes. Probably me, but not fun. BTW Tx so much for making this happen. . .
