Title: More Insects/Arachnids pls

Would anyone else love to see more insects or arachnids?

Right now there is the giant wolf spider, the icthellid and tataree. Also the two promos lightning beetle and deaths head scorpion.

Im gonna brainstorm some ideas and post them here. Would love everyone else's thoughts too!

more insects are interessant if they come with specific cards (a special flower that would give them strength?) or mage (a beastmaster of the soil?)

a beehive that would spawn a one life-1attack dice (with a poison ability)-flying creature each turn!

Wasps should be able to spilt up and join to a swarm again like mentioned in linked thread above.

This is all provided that any insects would be real size to scale. But as we see with the wolf spider and scorpion, they are basically fantasy size huge. So they might be less swarm-like if more insects come into play, and much more like 'champions' of their respective species, like maybe another scorpion, a giant mantis, another spider, a dragonfly that's riding sized, etc.

But either way, I agree. More insects subtypes would be very cool.

To getc the scaling Insects should get easily killed like vines. 1 or 2 life without armor. But then they are hard to get. Maybe give them 4+ infinite defense or 1 life resilient. Also they should not take a full action to get summoned. As cheap qc summoning you could get out 2 wasps in 1 turn.
Instead of a spawnpoint there could be some spawnswarm mechanic like “ during deployment phase if there are 3 or more bees on the board you may summon a bee creature in any of the existing bees zones“. Bees also should get the trick trait so 6 are enough to stay annoying.

Edit:
Bees should get 1 die attack with chances to daze, bleed, rot. To make it interesting there should be at least 3 types of bees

Easy fix: Poison Immunity.

Then it can survive Idol of Pestilence, Plagued, Stench of Decay, Poison Gas Cloud, Malacoda, and can pass through a Wall of Poison Gas (along with Wall of Thorns... but somehow not Wall of Pikes nor Bloodspine Wall). Should probably have Flame +1 though.

As for possible effects, I could see a type with Weak, a type with Burn, and a type with Stagger/Daze.

Why Not? Just little bees, cheap, annoying and autodeploying. That is very thematic. They would never be the killing creatures, just a little bit too threatening to ignore.
... And not every book has idol included as easy answer. Upkeep 1 for all creatures would also hurt, though.

What about a Dung Beetle with push.
He could have the high armor, low health like the Lighting Beetle.
Maybe a 10 mana creature, 6 health, 4 armor, 3 atk + 8+ push?
