Don't really know where to post it, but I try here...
Is there someone of you going to Gen Con who would agree to pick up some copies of PvS with promos for me? (please, please, please,....)

Never heard of that convention... is it big? Might be a good plan for next year, as I'll attend the "work-and-stop-complaining-about-that-whatever-thing-in-essen-con" this year :(

Its not Gen-Con big (60.000+ people?)
Viking-Con is the biggest con in Denmark and I think this one is #43.
A couple of hundred people usually attends.
A small fee to attend the con and free housing at the schools gym.
Gen-Con had 24? players, we had 16!
This year im planning a mage wars intro Friday night, with "casual" play and hopefully a mage wars academy. tourney.
Saturday their will be a 4 round tourney using a modified point scale and some unusual tiebreak condition.
Sunday their will be a 4 round knock/out tourney where participant from Saturday will be seeded after how they did. #1 rank get to choose his opponent from the lower half of the participants. Then #2 chooses etc.
Other than that well play some Domination Battleground and might arrange some thematic matches Warlord vs Johktari Beastmaster or something like that :)
If you cant wait that long, well hold a real small tourney Monday the 15 of August (Tyrnan is coming!)
First Price 1/2 of PvS you choose which spellbook you want.
Second Price. They other half of PvS.
Third Price. Alfiya the Holy Dragon
Fourth Price. The big fish :)
Fifth Pice. A mage wand.

Just as a note Gen Con caps at 24. Last year we had 17 with 12 pre- registered. This year we have 18 pre- registered. I expect we'll get very close to the 24 cap.

Its very English friendly ;D
and German friendly :) - we don't have anyone who's good at German but we allow German cards.
Actually we are friendly to everyone.

I thought AW will sell them with promos via their online-store preorder. So everybody including europa can easily get them? Am i wrong?

Copies sold online won't have alternate mage art cards, will be much later and shipped abroad by USPS which is expensive option and I may be charged import taxes.
With individual person I can ask them to use alternate shipping company or if they are visiting/going back to Europe to ship from within it.

Maybe someone from AW can hide some copies and send them somewhere in Europe? Because you know, so many Krakens released in America can cause the end of the world... you'd better share with Europeans... 8)

Kraken will find its way to Europe, but Polish distributor seems to gave up on MW after FiF. Of course I could order PvS from big online store that gets it from German distributor, but I prefer to spend money at my FLGS, which uses only local distributors, or AW (but this is out of option due to shipping costs/import taxes).

Ive got 15 Krakens, and some Paladin vs Siren - taking them back to Europe with me.
"Bad" news is im not shipping them anywhere.
You will have to go to Copenhagen to try and win Paladin, Siren, the Dragon, Kraken, Dragonclaw Wolvines and whatnot.
First chance will be Monday August 15.
After that the first Saturday each month and finally at Viking-Con.
Viking-con is the same time as Essen. Small and intimate, but you can play mage wars from Friday to Sunday.
Copenhagen is not that far away from most of you..
