Title: Explode vs Block/Reverse Attack

Does the Item get destroyed and then the attack stops or reverses? or Does Explode get past them because it isn't an Attack spell?

Explode is Unavoidable, therefore Block/Reverse Attack are discarded with no effect per the text on the cards :)
