Title: Death Ring and Eternal Servant

Hey guys,

So quick clarification, I played a game where I had 7 mana, the Deathfang Eternal Servant and the Death Ring.

Does the Death Ring give the discount when bring your Eternal Servant servent back?
I had always played that it did, but another player questioned it, and I wanted to be sure.

Your not casting or revealing a spell when you reanimate. So no you don´t get a [mwcard=DNQ02]Death Ring[/mwcard] discount.

I think [mwcard=DNI01]Animate Dead[/mwcard] is the only way currently that the death ring can help reduce the cost of reanimating.

I would have to check but Biblofilter is correct, the ring only applies when you cast, or reveal, a spell with the two specific subtypes.
