I have a question about Joseph Trublood's Healing Light ranged attack.
If I put him in a zone that has a Steep Hill conjuration attached to it (Ranged+1), and if he has a Hawkeye enchantment attached to him (Ranged+1), would that mean that I can roll 4 dice to heal a target living creature the amount rolled?
-
I would say yes. Healing Light is still a Ranged Attack, even if the damage it does is Healing, and so does take advantage of Ranged +X modifiers.
It contrasts with the healing attack option of the Resplendent Bow, which explicitly states that its healing attack is always only two dice strong, regardless of any Ranged +X modifiers the Bow’s damaging attack option may have.

I can't think of any reason it wouldn't.

I see the MW promo marking in the picture, but I am wondering whether he has been released yet in non-promo form.

I want to say yes and that he was in forged in fire maybe.

I'm not sure: is it an attack?
the bar isn't grey, but "gold"... it could be a power "written as an attack" but which wouldn't get the attack bonus...
-
I echo exid here. I would say no as it is an ability and not an attack. In the same vien you couldn't place hawkeye on an Asyran Cleric to get better healing.
-
In fact the asyran cleric also has a gold bar. Likely indicating that it's not an attack at all. Since ranged plus only modifies attacks it wouldn't stack. Or provide any benefit at all really.
-
Yes, you are right. It is a special ability, not an Attack. So no, I reverse my earlier assertion. No Ranged +X for Joseph’s healing power.
Core rules, p.11, second column.

Just here to confirm that Exid is correct. It is a special ability, not an attack, and does NOT benefit from the Ranged +X trait.

Thank you all for clarifying.
