I have long thought that it was odd that the Necropian Vampiress has never found a place among the Dark Mages of Mage Wars. The Necromancer prefers Undead while Warlocks prefer Demons, so the Necropian Vampiress tends to be left out of the majority of Dark spell books that I have seen. How often do you see the Necropian Vampiress appear in play?

Played it last Thursday with my Warlock. Worked fine.

I used to play her as buddy die my forcemaster and I also met her that way several times. I see no synergies with necro.
You are right, she feels a bit lost. From her mechanics she is more a warlock kind of girl.

I think she is fantastic in a necromancer. The fact that, in a mirror match, they play undead doesnt matter, the mage is always livong and will trigger vampiric and she can fly over all the skellies amd zombies. In my necro she usually get swapped for a blood demon, only because its 1 sbp cheaper, no other reason.

Maybe someday we will get an bloodmage an vampire dark mage.

Maybe I am just old school, but I have always wondered why the vampires (Necropian or Narakan) were never listed as Undead.
Always thought that would be perfect for the Necromancer, to give him another option than skellies or zombies.
As it stands, they do sit between camps, belonging to neither Warlock nor Necro. Which is a shame - they are good creatures.

Are you kidding, vampiress is an awesome creature and just because she's not a demon or undead doesn't mean you shouldn't include her in a warlock or necromancer book.
Also, necropian vampires aren't normal vampires, because they drain your life rather than your blood. That's why they aren't nonliving.
