Hi Mages!
Interesting question today: Cassel cast Remove Curse and then 2 mana get Mage Or Cassel?

The Mage gains the two mana.

A little trick to help understand spell text. First, pretend that you are actually the Mage. Player and Mage are synonymous in Mage Wars. Then, read each spell as though it is talking directly to YOU, the Mage. This perspective never changes no matter what is casting the spell.

On Remove Curse and similar spells, it gives the direction to "Gain 2 Mana." In English, directions like this have an implied "you" as the subject. The direction to "Gain 2 Mana" is being given to "you" the person/mage being spoken to.

Thanks. So my Cassel can cast remove curse for 0 mana and then my Mage gain 2 mana? In this case I trade 1 card/book point and Cassel action for 2 mana?

Yes. That is perfectly legal.

So it's the mage and not the source of the spell. Personally I would of thought the implied you would be the source of the spell not the mage regardless.
