Title: melee +
Post by: Silverhaze on January 18, 2017, 04:17:56 PM
If you have melee +... trait, do you have to add the dice? For example your bitterwood fox has a revealed bear strength and wants to attack your sleeping wolf. Does he have to attack with five dice or can he choose to attack with only 3?

However, if you were to Battle Fury the fox you could hit an enemy target for 5 dice and then your sleeping wolf for 3 dice as Melee +X only affects the first attack in an action.

Can't you only do that with sweeping attacks? I thought you had to attack the same target with battle fury.

Battlefury gives you another attack action that is in the "additional strikes" step.  This is not the same as Doublestrike  (which must be the same target) or Sweeping (which must be a different target).  You have full reign on what to hit with the second strike of battlefury.
