Title: Arnhem Event

11th of December at Vendetta in Arnhem, The Netherlands is the "There can be only one" event.   Only one copy of each card can be used in your spellbook.  Apparently used in some other game but new for me.  Looking forward to it.

I already have a cunning plan.  Who wants to come and try and take me down.

... but what is the point in using only 1 dispel? Go curses!

Go equipment...

It's basically only staple utilities (Dispel/Dissolve) and low level creature swarms that use multiples in this game anyway.

Maybe for your spellbooks. Mine often use more than one copy of important spells, and they're not all low level creature swarms.

I use to run the core cards of a strategy double as backup so that the main strategy is secured.
For example fireshaper ring+hawkeye+akiros favor as fire rush.
Or marked for death, poisoned blood or vet belt are good examples in some books.
Also for sure a Siren runs multiple shallow seas! Its her core spell more or less.
