My local shop in Geneva (Switzerland) commands in Germany.
He sais that Academy-Priestress is still sold out.
He sais that Academy-Warlock isn't availlable yet.
Is that right? Hasen't priestress been re-printed allready? Hasen't Warlock allready arrived in Germany?
-
Hi Exid. I dont get it because i ordered about 6 core sets, 6 Warlocks and 6 Priestess three weeks ago. Have them all, distributed them all.
Try Brave New World (BNW)
-
ok... it's my shop that did it bad, then.
i'll go back to them.
-
Due to the Essen Speil, i would try asking questions next week :)
-
Certainly we've had plenty of Priestess and Warlock in the UK...
-
Every set was here in Belgium in August.
-
I told my shop... and i'll have the priestress and the warlock in a few days!
-
Glad to hear that :) if not, let mě know. Post to switz could not be that brutal :)

Hmm, still no sign of Paladin vs Siren or Lost grimoire here in the Netherlands. The distributor says they have no stock, therfore gamestores also have nothing. We watch and wait, and wait, and wait. .......
-
Europe seems like a terrible place to try and get Arcane wonders products
-
Seems linke Europe isn't Europe. Germany academy via AW-store was perfect (free shipping). Then PvS I did it wrong and had to pay tons for shipping from US. It was here in stores only a week after I got my pre-order sent. And Lost Grimoire was in stores even befor in US as I read.
Shipping for full Sets or getting promos is a pain in the ass, but for regular games germany is pretty fast so far. And from Netherlands it should be easy to order from germany or hop over the border.

Strange... The local store here gets his stuff shipped from the netherlands.

There's a very different picture country to country in all things - treating it as 'Europe' is usually wrong.
We also had Lost Grimoire here in the UK a couple of days before the US, PVS and Academy Warlock and Priestess were all very prompt.
The problem we have in the UK, when we have a problem, is not really anything to do with AW. We have one distributor of any size, who more or less have a monopoly, anything below that is more or less shops doing their own importing. So depending on decisions they make, we either get it at all shops or none, enough everywhere or not, get it promptly or months later.
We have a very wide network of online and FLGS, but a bottleneck at the distributor level.
-
You should try getting cards in Australia. Most stuff is out of stock or just non existent and it's rather expensive to get them shipped from the US.

Yes, I know you have hideous prices over there...

Esdevium games?
-
Yes Esdevium. Technically, there's a couple of other very small ones with patchy reputations, and a couple of larger OLGS that order their own stuff directly, but in terms any other country would understand the situation we have a single distributor...
Esdevium is now owned by the growing Asmodee monolith that owns half the games publishers in the world by volume now (and gives preference to those games).

If it comforts any of you, in my country (Israel) there is only one game-store that sell mage wars, and it only has the arena core set and the academy core set (and not even a single expansion).
I have to order everything online.
