I'm sure it has been asked before, so sorry for the repeated question.
Does a demon heal with demonic reward if it attacks a creature without a burn and adds a burn during the attack?
Both solutions seem equally valid to me. Thanks!

I don't think so, Halewijn.
The ability states that the Demon has "to attack and damage a creature with a Burn condition" to get this effect.
Since the Burn condition is not there atm of attacking and damaging the answer would be no imo.

Borg is right! I would give you a banana sticker but i dont have such amazing power and so label from Salami will do the trick too :)

Thanks guys! Wasn't sure how to interpret it.

Gratz, Borg. Enjoy your tasty Banana Sticker.

Thanks, and that on the 13th ... ;)
13 Being an unlucky number can officially be put to rest now :)

Another Demonic Reward rules question:
Target has a Burn marker and a Guard marker. Attacking Demon creature has 0 damage.
Can the Demon heal damage inflicted during the Couterstrike step?

Great question. My thought is that no, it would not. Usually things that get worded as triggering off of dealing damage, happen immediately after dealing damage and thus before the Counterstrike step.

It's oddly worded. Instead of "When..." (e.g. declaring a timing window), it says "If..." (e.g. a qualifying trigger). And then at the very end, it says "once per round," which could be confused as a timing window rather than a limitation (although I think it's clearly meant to be a limitation).
