I was checking the page that had some spoilers earlier and they've updated the page and there are two new spoilers near the bottom of the page. http://fathergeek.com/mage-wars-academy-expansion-sneak-peek/

Those look pretty cool.

That punching demon can easily get 3 dice thus having around 70% chance of placing burn.
And also another novice spell from War school. Seems like everybody are studying Art of War at School of Wizardry.

yeah, in the released sets we have 14 novice spells, 9 of these are from the war school. It makes sense that no matter what mage you are, you need basic war knowledge for battles.

So excited about glancing blow! Thats going to be a nice surprise going forward.

At first I thought, "Hmmm... nice alternative to Brace Yourself" - but then realized that it combos much better with any armour that's already on your mage. E.g. already have a basic body-piece, Rhino Hide, or even just gloves/boots/pants plus Veteran Belt? Use Glancing Blow and you don't take damage from what otherwise would have been a 4 dice attack. Of course, Multiple Strikes get through it, but it wastes any bonuses that only trigger on the first attack.

But brace yourself can be revealed whenever you want and works an entire round! Cool card for academy, but brace yourself still seems much better to me.

so stoked for the warlock academy set! :D

Yup I'm keeping Wizard and Priestess built for Academy. Beast Master and Warlock cards are going to make already good books even better. Can not wait.

I have two copies of Academy, and I'm thinking of getting a third for this reason.
