Luke 6:38 Give, and it will be given to you.

Ok, I tried to rob you, I admit!

There is of course a way, that has proven reliable in the past (You can ask kids around the globe for confirmation):

The Alternate Art mages are pretty limited. We have them with us at conventions, and not much else. However, if memory serves I sent the Winners of the first Thunderdome a few alternate mages. The biggest key is to just keep your eyes peeled.

As I am the winner of Thunderdome One I am looking forward to the cards :)

Anyway, have you been at a con in Germany already ? Naturally, that should have been Essen but I think you haven't made it there ? -  also read as : Come here ! 8)

Bryan was there this year. At the Pegasus Spiele booth. Pegasus Spiele is the german distributor for Mage Wars.

I mean... I got some alternate art mages when  I bought the promo kits in the AW web store. Are you talking about the ones that are essentially the same exact mage pictures but with magical cloudy/wispy/sparky/flaminess in the fore and backgrounds? If so thats how i gottem. dont have the necro though.

Yea, that's what I mean.

Haven't found any promo packs including them that I could order though.

Yeah to be perfectly honest it was a happy unexpected occurance when i got them. i bought a ton of stuff so i dont know if they were added because of the ending price tag, or if i have them just cuz someone was being nice (if so thank you whomever you are!) but i see that promo pack 2 is still on the store. leather belt and sunfire burst are the only cards id really play out of it but its still worth it. IMHO

I sent some with John and Bryan when the went to Essen this year.

Also, I'm surprised that your promos haven't arrived. I mailed them quite a while ago. Let me know if there are issues.

I don't think there are any issues. Mailing from US to Europe just takes a while. If you sent them in August I think that's still in "normal" delivery time for such things.

Curious though why those cards aren't purchaseable ?

This might be me, but I would never purchase them. :P I really think they look a bit dumb and I prefer the simpler existing mages.

The alternate Mage art cards are meant to be something really special. We didn't just want them to be directly purchasable. We wanted them as a cool way to reward people who sought us out. That being said, I know that makes things infinitely more difficult for our overseas players, and I'm sorry for that.

more difficult = more challenging = more rewarding when we get our hands on some of them :)

There are so rare and epic, that i would be probably able to use them as currency in my country :D
