How awesome is this piece of equipment !!!
Anyway if I equipped my lovely boots and I wanted to cast force push on myself, what are the options available to me ?
I love the boots to primarily stop a forcemasters abuse of the force spells. I now want to play as a forcemaster and I'm wondering if these awesome boots I've been using in most matches need to be replaced by another set of boots?
Any thoughts guys?

You can't push yourself if you have the unmovable trait. If you're worried about wall of thorns-push combo then you probably should put on some armor or something.

I run Eagleclaw Boots with my Forcemaster because I'm not the only one in my group who likes to push mages through walls or into traps and creature swarms, etc. Also, I don't have much use for Leather or Reflex Boots (and opt for Gauntlets of Power over Leather Gloves) because I'm usually on the offense and go with Forcefield and/or Regenerate and/or Vampirism if the going gets tough. But it does mean I can't Force Push myself to move 3 spaces in a turn; e.g. would have to use Teleport to cover large distances.

My primary mage is the Straywood Beast Master so yeah I use these boots a good bit. Very nice piece of equipment.

Movement control is pretty dang important and these babies put you at an advantage. Vulcan is right though, You can't even push yourself, so if you want better movement either give yourself the fast trait or carry extra teleports.
They're very important to include into push/wall builds because you don't want your opponent abusing your build against you.

I was thrown through my own wall once. I believe it was in Episode 6 of Arcane Duels. It kind of sucks. But I also have thrown a few mages through their own walls.
Your only option is to carry a different pair of boots, to switch out of then push yourself. But that causes you to lose an action and the mana spent to switch out the equipment.

Glad you love the boots! I include those in probably 80% of my books. I think I've used the climbing trait once and it's still a great card.
