Title: Fire weaving Warlock
Post by: MW United on May 04, 2015, 01:08:39 AM
Hi guys

I love this new Warlocks ability!

The question is can you move a burn marker that was on or added to a creature via an attack at the end of the Warlocks round if the creature died during the damage and effects stage?

No, because the creature (and all objects and markers attached to it) no longer exists when it is time for the warlock to move the burn.

Edit: Also, this should be in 'Rules Discussion'.

That would be a fun fire enchantment though. The effect triggers on creature destruction and lets you move burn markers from this creature to other objects in the zone upon death.

Could be an curse enchantment ("Napalm") that spreads burns upon destruction, but could also be a friendly creature analogous to [mwcard=FWC03]Goblin Bomber[/mwcard] or [mwcard=DNC09]Plague Zombie[/mwcard]: perhaps "Exploding Imp" that puts a burn token on all objects in its zone when destroyed.
