Join them and listen to their breakdown of one of the 4 original Mages from the core set!

One thing that I like about the Dark Pact Slayer as a Blood Reaper is that he works so well with a Warlock's fire options. The best cards at shutting down a Warlock's offense that relies on fire are Dragonscale Hauberk and Elemental Cloak. A Dark Pact Slayer Blood Reaper doesn't even notice either of those unless they play multiple armor cards.

My first impression about this episode was - "1 hour long? WOW" but after i finished it, it feel like 30 minutes :)

After each episode, i want to just build spellbooks. Is it possible to announce what will next episode be about?

Its nice to hear that Ricks army is getting bigger and bigger and everything is alright. Congratulations!

If there are particular topics you would like us to talk about, then please post it here and let Rick and myself know what you'd like to hear from us. This will help us plan further into the future. :)

I would like to see a match between Laddifance and Toxiq commented by Rick buuut that is not a podcast :)

For episode, i would probalby like to hear more about Lore. About Map of Etheria and its inhabitants. Will "female" necromancer worship bog queen or is there more undead gods? Are they barbarians in Etheria and thus barbarian mages? Centaurs? Is there somewhere a Goblin mage? (lot of this questions are probably for Mr. Pope to answer :) )

Thank you for that idea Boocheck. I'll talk to Scott and Rick and see what we can do. :)

All about alternate variants! They need more love!

For instance, what alternate variants do you play, which ones do you want to try, etc.

List of variants worthy of organized play:

Also some other variants of note:

Mage Wars the Drinking Game v1

(objective is to drink as little as possible so that you're not too inebriated to win, but it's totally a losing battle for both players. Chances are you'll never finish a game in this format.)

Mage Wars the Drinking Game v2
(for the sake of gamebalance, the amount of drink in glass is tied to your life stat, and amount of drink in your body is tied to damage)

Anything that uses hexagonal zones (generally for games with an odd number of players)

Mage Wars block formats

Apprentice mode level 2

While seeing a match with the designers would be cool. It would have to be done at a convention or a trade show where all 3 are at. Cough..GenCon..cough...

Tox and Ric are both some where in Texas and Aaron is somewhere in Indiana. So logistically it wouldn't be that easy.

This ^. I'm dying over here for more lore about Etheria.

Although we might not get it, it'll probably be released as the OP storylines and in the novels that are coming out. But the novel release date keeps getting pushed back (at least on Amazon) and the OP seems to have died down a little bit unfortunately. Hopefully it picks back up!

There is less than any time at Gen Con for me to get to play a game. I had an important US vs UK game of 1776 that was scheduled at the last Gen Con, and we had to push it to Origins this year.

I'm going to work with Scott, and we'll see just what we may be able to say. I love talking stories.
