Title: invisible stalker and charge
Post by: Tim on December 21, 2014, 05:46:21 PM
Hi,

Do the invisible stalker gain the charge bonus (example lion savary) when it attacks from invisible to visible?

I would say YES.

Because the all enchantments also become invisible when attached to IS. Just because it's invisible doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it just can't be targeted. When you declare attack the charge becomes visible.

Attack Procedure:

Declare attack (everything becomes Visible.)

Roll to Avoid attack if necessary.

Roll attack dice (here is where you apply charge)

Apply Damage and Effects

The stalker can't be enchanted with lions savagery because it is not a living creature.

I am not aware of any way currently to give the stalker charge,  but there's nothing that prevents it from benefiting from charge if you could find a way to give it to him.

What he said.....

I still think my reasoning is correct, in a case in the future where a creature can become invisible.

Just to be even more specific, he need to move to gain charge. Going from invisible to visible is not enough to grant charge bonus (which currently there is no way to give it to him)

I guess I assumed he made the required action to get charge, had he been able to get charge in the first place.

The way his question is worded, it sound like he ask if going from one state to the other is a move.
