Finally, those of us who can't make it to these events have a way of getting promo cards without spending ridiculous amounts of money on Ebay!

Ah but will they be tournament legal? There's the big question. I'd say if you pay cash money for something it ought to be legal.

I'm going to guess no since they're still considered "Promo" cards but I could be wrong.

No they are not. They are promo.

No on the tournament legal, at least until they are part of a full set. We're releasing extra promos with this effort, not "Printing them in an official set".
Hope this helps.

Well, Temple High Guard is a card i was looking on for a very long time and my gaming area had no problem with them in our league :)
Now i am pretty curious about post fees to europe :)
-
We are looking into post Gen Con distribution options through the BGG store, which I've been told has reasonable shipping rates as well. Plus, this is much lighter than shipping a 3 lb game box :)
-
Eh they'll be legal at our local events at least. Nice cards.
-
Know what'd be real cool? If Ambassadors could order them with their points. This things scream demo prize support.
-
I couldnt agree with you more. Autumn is a tournament time so i know that they will came pretty handy :-)

i understand that promo cards are cards that they are testing now, because many of them are horribly powerful (ballista) and others are.....well...with a good picture xd, it´s normal that in this format promo cards aren´t permited in tournaments, because that would be a big mistake, all people spend money for 3 ballistas and storm staff and another powerfull cards and the game would be boring.
I prefer that in the future promo cards would be cards as teleport or some cards that normally are very used and are very few in the box, i need 2 teleport for each mage.
-
Promos are Promos. Hmm, why dont just create something like Isels Mandatory Mini Pack. 4 Teleports, 4 Dispels, 4 Seeking Dispels, 4 Dissolves, 4 DragonScale Haulberks :)
When comes to promos, I would expect new spells or different art like is alternative
Dispel,
Heal,
Selesius, the East Wind,
Storm Drake Hide,
Rhino Hide,
and Bear Strength cause Torkk is awesome!
Also, teleports or dispells will came in future mage expansions eventually :)
-
Dispel already has two art variations.
-
I named all cards with alternative art :) my bad, i wrote my intentions probably wrong :)

I'd never seen altar of the iron guard before. What an amazing card for a slow build up strategy.

We have a few of them here in my area. That thing is amazing believe me. One of our local Priestess players uses it to great effect.

i would like to have those "enhanced" Mages cards (with additional graffics). They look great, nut rather not possible get them in Poland...
