Are you saying my choice is "or death"?
-
Well, I'll have the chicken then.
-
Well, I'll have the chicken then.
Very good sir.
Thank you for flying Church of England. Cake or Death?
-
I asked for the vegetarian.
-
Well here you are Mr. Hitler.
-
and that ends the bit. :)
But it brings up an important question...
Why don't we have/when are we getting a spell called "Do you have a flag?".
I need this.
Although I guess I can just say when I cast standard bearer.
-
I do say that when I cast my standard bearer. It's come up a couple times while playing Domination.
-
My favorite pets in no particular order:
Timber Wolf
Spitting Raptor
Steelclaw Grizzly
I have experimented with a pet Thunderift Falcon early game and am considering putting a Pet Mountain Gorilla in my mages zone and just have him Guard.
-
My favorites are
- Emerald Tegu
- Timber Wolf
- UNICORN
Haven't tried the Raptor as a pet. Hmm, I'll have to give it a shot.
-
The raptor is really flexible. I can't wait till I can design more dinosaurs :)
-
I keep meaning to try a Unicorn, I need more healing in my Beast Master book overall.
The thing with the raptor is it gives them a much needed boost to armor and life. In addition the combo of Spitting Acid to Corrode one turn and then 5 Attack with 1 Piercing for whatever armor they have left the next turn has been fairly effective for me. I'm also partial to Cheetah Speed on all my pets and with the raptor it becomes a fairly nice little threat this way.

Yeah you should do that. :) Also still waiting on my tank.
-
I never get to play my beastmaster. My daughter claimed it as hers immediately.
If I did get to play him I think I'd like (in no particular order):
Timber Wolf
Raptor
Unicorn
With the falcon in there really close
Now I just have to wait for our store to get DvN in stock to try the raptors. They're having a tough time getting it from distribution. Sure, I could buy it online (and may have to) but I'm supporting my FLGS as much as possible. :)
Also, re: MOAR DINOSAURZ - yes please.
-
Ozmo as a man who just now got use of his Priestess back I can relate to your Beast Master limitation :)
-
Hmm, mage from savage lands... T-Rex, Triceraptor, Pterodaktylus (i never wrote these word in english, i hope i name them right :) )
Beeing a game designer is similar to have god like powers. You can create absolutly anything :)
-
Thus being from the Savage Land we could reasonably expect the Pterodactyl(I speak English fluent and can't spell it either without spell check) to have the Vampirism trait? ;D
-
Savage Land would also mean Ka-Zar, Zabu & Shanna.
I need a sabretooth tiger.

I would like to see Zok, Igoo, Tundro, Gloop/Gleep, and the legendaries: Zandor, Tara, and Dorno
and lets not forget about Chalka ...just to mix in some other geekdoms...

That is a "were-pterodactyl". He only changes when he feeds on the "mana" of "mages".

There. There pterodactyl.

-
Oh I thought we were talking like this, oh well I'm easy.
-
Blucher!
-
I hope we will see more dinosaur creatures.
My favorite pet is the raptor. He make an amazing pet because either opponent get shot at range 1 and lose armor or he get in and get hit by a 6 dice piercig +1 attack.
I also like falcon pet.
-
1 Timber Wolf
2 Thunderdrift Falcon
3 Steelclaw Grizzly
-
1. Grizzly
2. Tegu
3. Darkfanne Bat :)
-
1. Grizzly
2. Tegu
3. Darkfanne Bat :)
If you get lucky with the bat, he's one of the most dangerous animals in the game. Unfortunately, he gets swatted down pretty easy.

In my area there are 4 who choose the Necromancer as either their primary or secondary mage. One of us uses bats pretty extensively. I've learned to hate them with a passion.
-
I wish there were more bats. I would play necromancer with cloak of shadows and rename him to Batmancer :)
I hope that Shaman will have some cool totems in future expansions that will boost my animal builds further :)

Friend of mine makes a lot of Batman jokes when she plays bats lol. I got hurt yesterday playing a game against her when I had 2 Rajans Furies out. Those bats hurt then.
Yeah the Shaman is the mage I'm most eagerly awaiting outside of the Paladin. There's a lot more that could be done Totem wise.
-
I think I will try a gargoyle sentry pet next time I play, just for the sheer defense. Has anyone tried this?
(Also, first post on the forum! Yay!)

Unfortunately, only animals may be made into pets.
My top three:
1. Thunderift Falcon
2. Emerald Tegu
3. Bitterwood Fox / Feral Bobcat (either one)
I find the pet ability is much more dramatic on lower level creatures.
-
Yeah on level 1 animal it most likely boost their hp by 50%, damage by 33% and armor by infinite %. All that for 1 mana.
-
2 mana ;-)

Deep down inside, I knew there was a reason why I hadn't done it yet, lol.
